Gemina Book Review (Spoilers)

Rate: 10/10

This book blew my mind, man. Not only is the sequel just as good than the first book, it may even be better.

I was just as amazed by the gorgeous format of the book and the complex world building. I loved Hanna, Nik and Ella.

I really liked that we finally got to meet Kady’s dad, Isaac Grant, in Gemina. He was a complete mystery to us in Illuminae.

Here’s how reading Gemina went for me:

I cried, I laughed, and I screamed out loud in the middle of study hall, I cried some more and some more.

I’m crying right now writing this. My tears are hitting the keyboard.

The little plot twist thing about the two different realities hit me hard in the feels.

I was crying real tears in the middle of study hall when the unthinkable happened to Nik. Then he was ok. But the other Nik wasn’t. So sad.

Overall, I LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH. THIS TOTALLY LIVED UP TO THE HYPE.
